Step-by-Step Guide

Prepare Your PC:

Prepare the Firmware:

  • Extract the downloaded firmware ZIP file. You should see files with extensions like BL, AP (or PDA), CP, and CSC.

Boot Your Phone into Download Mode:

  • Power off your GALAXY S22+ SM-S906E.
  • Press and hold the Volume Down + Bixby buttons simultaneously.
  • While holding the buttons, connect the USB cable to your computer.
  • You should see a warning screen. Press Volume Up to enter Download Mode.

Flash the Firmware Using Odin:

  • Open the Odin executable file (Odin3 v3.13.1).
  • Connect your phone to your PC. Odin should recognize your device, and a "COM" port will turn blue.

In Odin:

  • Click the BL button and select the BL file from the extracted firmware folder.
  • Click the AP button and select the AP (or PDA) file. This is the largest file and may take some time to load.
  • Click the CP button and select the CP file.
  • Click the CSC button and select the CSC file. For a clean install, use the HOME_CSC file. For preserving user data, use the CSC file.
  • Important: Ensure that "Auto Reboot" and "F. Reset Time" are checked. Do not check "Re-Partition" unless you know exactly what you are doing.
  • Click the Start button.

Wait for the Process to Complete:

  • Odin will now flash the firmware onto your device. This process can take several minutes. Do not disconnect your phone during this process.
  • Once the process is complete, Odin will display a "PASS!" message, and your phone will automatically reboot.

First Boot:

  • The first boot after flashing may take longer than usual. Be patient.

Troubleshooting:

  • Odin doesn't recognize my phone: Reinstall Samsung USB Drivers, try a different USB port or try a different USB cable.
  • Stuck in a boot loop: Try flashing the firmware again. If the problem persists, you may need to flash a different firmware or seek professional help.
