Samsung has officially released a new software update for the Galaxy A33 5G, which includes the September 2024 security patch. Earlier today, Samsung provided details regarding the October 2024 security patch in the current month. Nevertheless, this does not signify the conclusion of the September 2024 security patch rollout from the preceding month.

It fixes 67 security vulnerabilities, making your device safer than before. Currently, Samsung has initiated the update rollout for three device variants: SM-A336B, SM-A336E, and SM-A336M. The new software update will change the firmware version of SM-A336B to A336BXXSAEXI8 and that of SM-A336E to A336EDXSAEXI8.

Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy A33 will receive quarterly security updates, ensuring that the device remains secure with regular patches every three months. As a result, users can confidently expect the next update to be released by the end of this year. Furthermore, the Galaxy A33 is guaranteed to receive the Android 15-based One UI 7.0 update.

Getting the new firmware is very easy via OTA Update. Navigate to Galaxy device Settings » Software update and hit the Download and Install button. Another option is to download it from our database and assertively install it manually using Odin.
