One UI 5.0 beta will be launched in the third week of July, as we have already revealed exclusively. By October 2022, Samsung hopes to release the software to the public. The beta firmware will only be available in a few countries as usual.
We already know what to expect from the Android 13 developer preview builds that Google released earlier this week. Additionally, it includes cosmetic improvements, new media players, and output pickers as well as expanded Material You color schemes.
It will introduce a few cosmetic changes of its own with One UI 5.0. New features can also be expected since this is a major update. There is not a lot of information about these features available at this time, however.
