Samsung's One UI 7.0 brings a New Quick Panel to the Galaxy S25 Ultra. However, Samsung is still busy releasing One UI 6.1.1, which has many new Galaxy AI features, and too many old high-end Galaxy products. Therefore, the company has delayed the One UI 7 update based on Android 15 until early next year. Samsung will launch the Galaxy S25 series with One UI 7.
@UniverseIce on X recently shared a mockup of the One UI 7.0 user interface on the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Thanks to that, we can appreciate the new quick panel.
The One UI 7.0 new quick panel seems to be impressive with iOS 18 with many small tiles of pre-defined sizes. Each tile of the quick panel has rounded corners and is transparent. This information is confirmed by a leak from last week, which showed that the One UI 7.0 app drawer, home screen, and Settings app are very different from their predecessors. In addition, the battery indicator and Camera app have also been redesigned in new new Quick Panel.
Samsung Community senior member @UniverseIce has confirmed in their last leak that the One UI 7.0 will be a complete overhaul of the interface. Therefore, it may take some time for Samsung Galaxy fans to get used to and learn the new interface of the Galaxy S25 series.
Samsung's Android updates are like a well-orchestrated symphony. The first notes are struck after Google's I/O conference, and the crescendo comes in the form of a stable release during the late autumn or early winter months, often starting with the Galaxy S series.
